WorkWell: The power of wellbeing at work
Marie Schneegans, the entrepreneur behind Never Eat Alone, an application that changed the codes of wellbeing at work, connecting employees of a same company to have lunch together, continues in her mission to make employees happier. She developed WorkWell, an open platform connecting all the services at work. In just one interface, it is possible to book a restaurant, organize sports lessons, set up carpoolings or post small ads.
“Before creating Workwell, I was a student in Finance and I did an internship at UBS, the largest Swiss bank. It was very boring because I was always the same colleagues of my department, and had lunch everyday alone, in front of my desk, with the same colleagues. And so I started knocking on the doors, saying: “Hello, I’m Marie, would you like to have lunch with me?”. The experience inspired the creation of Never Eat Alone and, later, of WorkWell, to combine all the services at work in one platform.
Workwell is present in France and in the United States and beginning its expansion to the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and Australia. “The next step to grow WorkWell is to offer the best services inside WorkWell. We are an open platform, but as we go to new countries, services are different, so we need partners that can offer the best services inside Workwell.”
