NEBRASKA STANDS OUT AS A BUSINESS DESTINATION IN THE US
Within Beeleev’s community, 30% of CEOs selected the United States as their top choice for development abroad. Usually, New-York, Los Angeles, Washington and San Francisco are the first cities to come to mind. Out of this traditional circuit, the city of Omaha (Nebraska) can surprise positively.
Omaha is the birthplace of the bilionary investor Warren Buffet (and his company Berkshire Hathaway), the activist Malcolm X and the former American president Gerald Ford. It is much more than that: it is a flourishing city that headquarters major IT, Logistics, Finance & Agribusiness players.
The Chamber of Commerce of Omaha made available a set of documents describing the incentives provided to companies going to the city. The four documents were produced by the Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership and offer a broad view of Nebraska’s economy.
